About Our City

Mar­i­on is a small city of just under 30,000 peo­ple locat­ed in Grant Coun­ty in the heart of Indi­ana. Mar­i­on is one of the best cities in the U.S. to raise a fam­i­ly, offer­ing low tax rates, low cost of liv­ing, and many qual­i­ty-of-life ameni­ties. In 2015, Nerd Wal­let named Mar­i­on #3 in the nation of the ​“Best Small Cities in Amer­i­ca.”
